Dr. Alyssa is a Florida native, raised near Jacksonville and then attending The University of South Florida in Tampa. She was awarded a Bachelors of Science in Biology and was part of the University Honors Program. Dr. Alyssa then left Florida for the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. While at SCO, she served as class secretary and was a member of the Gold Key Optometric Honor Society. She is a member of both the American Optometric Association and the Arkansas Optometric Association. Dr. Jerry and Dr. Alyssa were married in Jekyll Island, GA and they visit the east coast several times during the year. Dr. Alyssa enjoys college football, reading, and weightlifting. Dr. Alyssa and Dr. Jerry have two children, Liam and Lyla.
